In mining engineering, you will also learn how to minimize pollution during the extraction process. Mining engineering is associated with different subjects like mineral processing, metallurgy, geology, excavation, etc. So, mining engineer can seek their future in these related processes. They have a good scope after this course.
M.tech Mininf Engineering a specialization course of 2 years duration. This course gives you deep knowledge in one of the subfields of mining engineering. A post-graduation is a valuable degree in this field that helps you in your success. It is a branch of engineering which is related to the extraction of minerals from the ground. This subject focuses on different aspects of the extraction process. The mining process causes a lot of pollution which leads to a disturbance in the environment.
Also, this is a master’s degree which makes you eligible for higher ranks. Different institutes provide M.Tech Mining Engineering courses. All of them have their own set of rules. However, they all are allied with AICTE, so their syllabus and educational patterns have only slight differences.
The level of education is not the same in every college which provides a Masters in Technology mining engineering course. But how can you find the best college for this course? The best way to get to a top college for any course is through an entrance exam. This makes you eligible to take admission for any course. Entrance exams for M.Tech mining engineering courses are tough because they evaluate your knowledge of the subjects of the graduation course.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): This exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institutes of Science (IISc) to get admission in M.Tech courses. This exam is held once a year and is one of the toughest exams in India. The syllabus of this exam consists of all the major subjects of the B.Tech Course. You can also take admission in the IITs after this exam.
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET): This is an eligibility exam to get admission in different Post graduation courses. Anna University conducts this exam on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu which are affiliated with Anna university consider the score of the TANCET exam.
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT): This is a national exam conducted by BITS. This exam is required to take admission in different courses available in the institute.
Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Exam (TS PGECET): This exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The score of this exam is required to take admission in colleges of Telangana which is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
The eligibility criteria for the Mining Engineering Course is the minimum requirement to take admission in this course. It is similar to other M.Tech Courses. The minimum marks required in some colleges are different from the others. However, the difference is minor.
Masters in Technology Mining engineering course eligibility is as follow:
M.Tech Mining Engineering Course Duration is 2 years. Every year has 2 semesters. So, there are a total of 4 semesters in this course. Generally, Masters in Technology mining engineering course fees are around 45,000 to 1.5 lakhs per year.
The syllabus of the M.Tech Mining Engineering Course consists of a few subjects but it explains the topic in depth. This is a specialization course so, you will study only those subjects which give you deep knowledge of a field. You will see some subjects which you study for your bachelor's course. But you did not study it in depth. Also, subjects of other related fields are present in the syllabus of M.tech mining engineering. So, you will learn about some related fields too.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are the best technical colleges for technical education. Also, there are some other colleges which provide good education. But you have to crack an entrance exam to get admission to these colleges. These competition exams are tough. However, you can take coaching for these exams.
After the IITs and other top colleges, another option is the private colleges. These colleges also provide an M.Tech Mining Engineering Course. But studying this course from these colleges will be very expensive for you. So, it is very difficult to select a college that provides the right course at an affordable price.
