Central Board of Secondary Education is a central apex Board of education for administering public and private schools in India. The board was established in the year 1962 and is controlled and managed by the Union Government of India after its jurisdiction was extended. The board has a global presence with around 141 affiliated schools across 21 countries of the world.
The Board bestows affiliation to schools up to higher secondary level and develops a prevalent curriculum by keeping nationwide requirements in focus. This board is regarded as prestigious accreditation as it demands the schools follow fixed quality standards/measures.
The board conducts the 12th level examination every year which is one of the most recognized boards in India and the examination it conducts is observed as one of the toughest exams in India.
CBSE Board 12th Exam is held generally in the first week of March every year. The exams of class 12th last for a span of around 30 to 40 days from the date of the commencement of the examination.
