Kerala Board is the main education body of Kerala which is independent and functions under the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Kerala. The Kerala Board 9th Exam introduces the students to different chapters, available for the main state board examinations. It is a state-level board of education that is responsible for conducting the board examination for its affiliated schools within the state.

The main governing body that is responsible for preparing the exam paper for class 9th is the SCERT, which stands for the State Council Of Education Research and Training. The Kerala board is responsible for achieving an education rate of over 99% education rate which is the first educational board in India to achieve this ratio.

Kerala Board 9th Exam 2025: Key Highlights

Every year nearly 5 lakh students appear for the board examination which is conducted in April Every Year. Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan conducts the same examination in June for those students who didn’t qualify for the main examination thus for the benefit of the Students. Nearly 2 lacs Students take this Supplementary Examination.

• The supplementary exam provides services for those students who were not able to clear the exam successfully on the first attempt.
