The Council for the Indian Schools Certificate Examinations is a national-level private board of education for schools that conduct the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or Class X examinations in India. Established in the year of 1958, it has now affiliated with more than 2,000 schools in India and even Abroad.

CISCE Board 11th 2024: Overview:

The exams are conducted in two sessions. One is in February and March, and the second session is in April. The session of November is usually conducted for the students residing in the hills. The CISCE Board was established and set up to administer and look over the examinations that were being held by the University of Cambridge and ensure that the syllabus, examinations, books, and every other resource that a school might need, was tailored and made as according to the needs of the Indian students.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations conducts three examinations, namely the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE-Class X), the Indian School Certificate (ISC-Class XII), and the Certificate of Vocational Examinations (CVE - Year 12). The CISCE Board also conducts various National-level competitions and Awards are awarded to students who win the competitions and other olympiads, etc. Students are also provided training for a variety of educational topics and needs. The training programs are aimed at improving the overall teaching and learning activities in the classroom and the students alike. It ensures that students develop a managerial skill set and leadership qualities in education and beyond.

The UCAS (Universities and College Admission Services), the National Admissions and Accreditation agency of the United Kingdom has recognized ISC at par with excellent educational standards and equal to the Higher School Certification of the University of Scotland.

The Time table or Datesheet is released online, almost a month before the month of examinations. The examination timings are usually kept in the morning from 9 a.m and 11:00 am to 01:00 pm. The CISCE is the sole conducting authority for the organization of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class XI for every school affiliated with the CISCE Board. The schools need to follow the guidelines and regulations laid down by the educational board.

As per the latest circular issued by the ICSE Board 9th Exam, and class 11th is not board classes and the examinations are not board examinations. Thus, the examination that will be held for the students of class 11th is to be regular examinations.
