The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) generally commences the registration process for the CBSE class 12 exam during the academic session of class 11th which is through the concerned school. The eligible candidates can apply online latest by October 11, which is generally regulated every year.

Details of CBSE Board 12th Registration 2023

The CBSE Class 12th Registration Form discharged by CBSE is online from their official website. The present students in the 12th class must fill out the CBSE 12th Registration Form 2023 at the latest. The students who neglect to do such won't be permitted to appear for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams.

CBSE Board 12th Registration form will be available on the official website at www.cbse.gov.in. The application process for the XII standard begins on the portal of CBSE. CBSE means the Central Board of Secondary Education.

It is a National Level Board of Education in India for private and public schools. The board will open its official time window on September 30 to submit the examination form. And the examination may be commencement in March/April.

Eligibility for CBSE Board 12th Registration

  • The student who failed the XII standard can apply for the examination.
  • Students who had completed a regular course of studies and had been allotted Roll No. for appearing at the CBSE Class 12th examination.
  • Students who have appeared in class 10th or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
  • Women aspirants who are genuine residents of the National Capital Territory of India (NCT of Delhi) and had completed class 10th from any recognized Board.
  • Those students are applied who wish to improve their marks in one or more subjects can appear in exams again.

CBSE Board 12th Registration Date

The date of the CBSE Board 12th Application form 2023 will be started on 30th September. The completion of the online form end date and the last date to pay the fee is on 17 November. The Board will release the data related to the 12th standard on the official website. Central Board of Secondary Education is a conducting body of this board exam.

Features of 12th Standard Board Exam

  • Once the Examination center will be allotted, then no request for a change of examination hall will be considered.
  • The center will be allotted by the CBSE Board, based on the current residential address of the student.
  • Students will only apply for subjects that are auto-generated in the system.
  • Also, the New Roll Number will be allotted by the Board, to those who appear in the exam. 
  • Students will not be allowed to appear in the exam with the previous year’s Roll Number.

CBSE Board 12th Registration Fees 2023

This year the registration fee will increase in comparison to the previous year's online fee. The application fee will be hiked from Rs. 50 to Rs. 1,200. Students will pay the fee before the last date.

The Central Board of Secondary Education Intermediate application form will be available online mode only. The instructions to complete the examination form are available on the official website of the CBSE. the online form will not be accepted after the last date. Registration fee is also needed to be submitted along with the online form.

Given (below) some steps to complete the examination form areas:

Step 1: First, visit the official portal of the Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: A new page will appear on your screen there select the examination type.

Step 3: From the various options, click on the relevant one.

Step 4: Now, enter your examination number, and school number along with the Centre number, and select the class i.e 12th standard.

Step 5: Next, pay the application fee for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams.

Step 6: After that, click on the ‘Submit’ option after reading all the entered details.

Step 7: In the end, save the final print for future reference.

Important Instructions to Fill the CBSE Board 12th Registration

  • Students must have to choose categories such as Fail, Compartment, and Improvement of Performance. 
  • They have to fill in the details of the student’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, etc.,
  • They should have entered their accurate roll number, school number, and center number as given in their mark sheet for Board Examination. 
  • If there will be any wrong information that will be processed in the application form then an error message will be shown.
  • After the form will be rejected your fee will be forfeited.  

Note: Candidates who are not part of regular schooling i.e the private students also have to fill out the application forms online and pay via digital mode.

Steps to Register/Apply for CBSE Board 12th Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE i.e www.cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Choose the online application for private candidates for Mains (class 12th) Exam.

Step 3: Now, click on the registration for the class 12th option and enter the required details such as 5-digit School No., exam center no, etc.

Step 4: Now, make payment of your specified registration fees.

Step 5: After finishing your application procedure, click on submit.  

Step 6: At last, download the affirmation page of the application form and draw out the printout of the form.

Update: Submission of Class-XII CBSE application forms for the private candidates. Those who aspire to appear for the improvement of their performance or an additional subject as the private candidates for the examination may be conducted in March & April have been started.
