All the students who want to join the stream of Engineering and Technology have to appear for the mandatory B.Tech Entrance exam. Candidates must have an idea of the top 10 engineering colleges and the B.Tech Entrance paper for admission to those colleges. This will help the candidates to prepare well and crack the exams in their desired streams easily.

JEE Mains:

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must pass the Class 12/equivalent exams from a recognized Board.

➤ Candidates must have 5 subjects of which Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects and any of the following Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject, anyone language and another subject.

➤ Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exams are also eligible.

Candidates can attempt the JEE Mains paper a maximum of 4 times.

JEE Advanced:

➤ Level of the exam - National level

➤ Conducting authority - National Testing Agency

➤ Mode of exam - Online

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must qualify for the 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates must appear for the JEE Mains exam.

➤ Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 scorers of the JEE mains exam.

➤ Candidates can attempt the JEE Advanced Exam a maximum of 2 times.

BITSAT Exams:

➤ Level of the exam- University level

➤ Conducting authority- Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences

➤ Mode of the BITSAT Exam- Online

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must pass the 10+2 exams from a recognized Institute with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates must have 75% marks in the overall aggregate and 60% in each subject.

➤ Candidates must have English as the compulsory subject.

AP EAMCET:

➤ Level of the exam- State Level exam

➤ Conducting authority- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada

➤ Mode of exam- Online

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must pass the 10+2 exams from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects can apply for the B.Tech Entrance exam AP EAMCET.

➤ Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks in the qualifying exams(40% for the reserved category).

WBJEE:

➤ Level of the exam- State level exam

➤ Conducting authority- West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board

➤ Mode of WBJEE Exam-Offline

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must be a citizen of India.

➤ Candidates must qualify for the 10+2 exams from a recognized Board with Maths and Physics as the compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications.

➤ Candidates must get a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 Board exams.

MHCET:

➤ Level of the exam- State level exam

➤ Conducting authority- State Common Entrance Test Cell- Maharashtra State

➤ Mode of exam- Offline

Eligibility criteria:

➤ Candidates must be a citizen of India.

➤ Candidates must pass the 10+2 exams from a recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects and any of the following- Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subjects.

Candidates must get a minimum aggregate of 50% in their 10+2 Board exams.

➤ Diploma holders and candidates appearing for their Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply.

VITEEE:

➤ Level of the exam- University level

➤ Conducting authority- Vellore Institute of Technology

➤ Mode of the exam- Online (Computer-based test)

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates appearing for the VITEEE B.Tech Entrance paper must qualify the Class 12 exams from a recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

➤ Candidates must have PCM or PCB as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates with a valid score in the JEE mains exam can also apply for VITEEE admission.

➤ Only candidates who are opting for a full-time course are eligible to apply.

KIITEE:

➤ Level of the exam- University level

➤ Conducting authority- Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology

➤ Mode of the KIITEE Exam- Online (Computer based)

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must qualify for the 10+2 exams from a recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates must score 50% marks in each of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths separately.

➤ Candidates must have a valid score in JEE Mains Paper II or NATA.

SRMJEEE

➤ Level of the exam- University level

➤ Conducting authority- SRM Institute of Science and Technology

➤ Mode of the SRMJEEE Exam- Online proctored test

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as the compulsory subjects from any of the recognized Boards CBSE/ICSE/NIOS.

➤ Candidates qualifying the 10+2 Exams from an International Board with Level A Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates who are appearing for the Higher Secondary exams of that particular year are also eligible for application.

MET:

➤ Level of the exam- University Level

➤ Conducting authority- Manipal Academy of Higher Education

➤ Mode of the MET Exam- Online

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates who want to fill in the B.Tech Entrance form must pass the 10+2 exams from a recognized Board with Maths, English, and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates must score at least 50% marks in Maths, Physics and the optional subject was taken together.

➤ The 3rd optional subject should include any of the following: Biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry.

➤ Candidates must have English as the compulsory language.

➤ Candidates who have passed the A-level American 12th Grade exam are also eligible to apply.

OJEE

➤ Level of the exam- State level 

➤ Conducting authority- Odisha Joint Entrance Board

➤ Mode of the OJEE Exam- Online (Computer-based Test)

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must complete the Higher Secondary exams from a recognized Board.

➤ Candidates who have completed the 3-year Diploma program are also eligible to apply for the B.Tech Entrance exam.

➤ Candidates must have Physics and Maths as the compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks(40% for the reserved category).

HP CET:

➤ Level of the exam- State level

➤ Conducting authority- Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU)

➤ Mode of the exam- Offline (Pen and Paper-based)

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must be a citizen of India.

➤ Candidates must pass the 10+2 with a total of 5 subjects.

➤ Candidates who want to fill in the B.Tech Entrance form must qualify for the Higher Secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as the compulsory subjects, English as the compulsory language, and any one optional subject.

➤ Candidates must score a minimum percentage of 75% in the Class 12 Board exams(65% for the unreserved category).

Candidates born after 1st October 1996 are eligible to apply.

GUJCET:

➤ Level of the exam- State level

➤ Conducting authority- Gujarat Secondary Education Board

➤ Mode of the exam- Offline (Pen and paper-based)

Eligibility Criteria:

➤ Candidates must pass the Class 12 exams from a recognized Board with PCM/PCB as the compulsory subjects.

➤ Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in the Class 12 exams(5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories).

➤ Candidates who have passed the 10th and 12th exams from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply provided that these candidates have appeared for the NIOS exams from Gujarat State only
