➥ NIELIT O Level is a Foundation course in Information Technology that is conducted by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology and falls under the Government of India. The duration of the O Level Course is 1 year and consists of 2 semesters with a duration of 6 months each.

➥ The O Level course is conducted in January and July every year. The candidates who qualify for the O Level Exams become eligible for jobs in Government offices and Ministries in the field of Information Technology.

Fee Structure of the O-Level Course:

The fee of the O-level course can be paid online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking method. The fees for the O-level course are very reasonable and the total amount is approximately INR 11,350 + Taxes.

O Level Result

The O Level Exam Result 2024 of the O Level exams is released on the official portal of the NIELIT authorities is https://nielit.gov.in/.  The O Level Exam Hall Ticket is normally released 2 months after the examination.

The O Level exam result is not in the form of marks but in a Grade point pattern. The candidates can download their respective grades from the official website of NIELIT. The O Level Exam Results 2024 will also be sent to the Institutes accredited by NIELIT.

• Click the O Level Result option on the homepage, and you will be directed to a new page.
• There are several NIELIT course options on this page. 
• Click on the “O Level” course option that falls in the category of Information Technology.
• Fill in the required details given on this page that include the name of the candidate, date of birth of the candidate, year, and month of the O Level exam.
• Now fill in the captcha code and click the view page.
• The O Level Exam result 2024 will appear on the screen.
• Download the O Level exam Result and take a printout for future reference.
• Save the downloaded O Level exam result.

Grading Details of the O-Level Exams:

The O Level Exams are not available in the form of marks but in the form of grades on the official website of NIELIT. The Grades will determine the marks scored by the candidate in the examination. The Grades will also determine whether the candidate has the qualifying marks that are necessary for becoming eligible for Central Government jobs in the field of Information Technology.

The marks scored by the candidate in the practical paper are not necessary for the calculation of the grades but the candidate has to clear the Practical paper to qualify for the O Level Exams. The candidate who has cleared both the theory and the practical papers will be awarded the Certificate for the O Level exams.

Revaluation of the O-Level Exam Marks:

If the candidate is not satisfied with the marks obtained in the O Level Exams, he/she can apply for revaluation of the marks. The candidates should request the revelation of marks within 1 month of the announcement of the O Level Exam result 2024.

The revaluation process requires a minimum fee and for each question that the candidate wants to reevaluate, a fee of INR 200 has to be submitted by the candidate.

The fee for revaluation of the O Level Exam should be sent by the candidate directly to the examination headquarters that is located in Delhi.

After the revaluation process, there may be or may not be changes in the candidate’s marks. In case of changes of marks of the candidate after the O Level paper revaluation, the revised marks will be forwarded to the candidate.

Submission of Project for the O-Level Exams:

The NIELIT O Level candidate is assigned a Project during the course as directed in the Syllabus. The format of the Project has been described by NIELIT in the O Level syllabus and the candidate must submit the Project in the prescribed format.

The candidate has to complete the O-Level Exam Project within the time of the course. The candidate will be assigned a guide for the successful completion of the Project.

A Project guide should have the following criteria:

• Completed the NIELIT A Level Course and has experience of 5 years.
• Completed NIELIT B Level Exam or has an MCA Degree.
• Completed Higher education in the field of Computer Technology.

A Project fee of INR 100 should be given to NIELIT in the form of a Demand Draft along with the submission of the Project.
