O Level Exam 2024

O Level Exam: The O Level Exam is a foundation course in Computer Applications. It is conducted by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). NIELIT is accredited by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. The O Level Starts in January and July every year and on successful completion of the course, the candidates receive a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering.

NIELIT is an autonomous Scientific body that falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. What are the eligibility criteria for the O Level course?

O Level Exam can be taken by candidates directly from NIELIT or Institutions accredited by NIELIT.

The candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements for admission to the O Level Course

For Direct Applicants

Qualify for Class 10 exams with an ITI Certificate from a recognized Institute, followed by 1-year work experience.


Qualify Class 12 examination.

For indirect Applicants( Candidates taking O Level courses from Institutes accredited by NIELIT)

Qualify for Class 12 Examination.


Qualify Class 10 examination with 1-year ITI Certificate. 


Qualify for Class 10 and complete 2 years in the Government Polytechnic Course and pursue the O Level course during the third year of the Polytechnic Course.
