NIELIT is an autonomous Scientific body that falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. The candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements for admission to the O Level Course

For Direct Applicants

Qualify for Class 10 exams with an ITI Certificate from a recognized Institute, followed by 1-year work experience.

              or

Qualify Class 12 examination.

For indirect Applicants( Candidates taking O Level courses from Institutes accredited by NIELIT)

Qualify for Class 12 Examination.

            Or

Qualify Class 10 examination with 1-year ITI Certificate. 

             Or

Qualify for Class 10 and complete 2 years in the Government Polytechnic Course and pursue the O Level course during the third year of the Polytechnic Course.
