NIELIT 2025 July Cycle O Level Exam Dates - Overview

• The O Level Foundation Level Computer application examination is held by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
• The examination is conducted twice a year in January and July. The main objective of the examination is to equip the candidates with foundation-level knowledge in Computer Applications.
• Interested candidates who want to appear for the O Level Exams can apply online at the official site of NIELIT to register for the examinations.

Details of the Exam Centres for O Level Exams

• Over 120 Exam Centers are conducting O Level exams all over India. The exam centers are subject to change depending upon the circumstances.
• Any changes in the exam centers for the O Level Exams will be notified by the NIELIT administrative authorities on their official website.
• The candidates appearing for the NIELIT Exams have the option of choosing from Primary and Secondary Centres as the venue for the examination. The O Level Exams are usually conducted at the Primary Centres.
• The availability of the Primary Centre for the examination depends upon the number of candidates for the examination and the infrastructure of the primary exam venue. In the case of fewer students for the examination, the Primary Centre is subject to change by the NIELIT authorities.
• The applicants who give the secondary Centres as their first choice of their exam venue are required to give the Primary Centre as their second choice.

Important Information Regarding O Level Exam Dates

• The important dates for the O Level examination will be announced by the NIELIT authorities on their official website and through Newspaper Advertisements. The examination is conducted in 4 Modules. 
• Candidates appearing for the NIELIT examination can appear in the first 2 Modules after completion of 6 months of the O Level course Program that includes submission of projects and assignments. 
• Candidates appearing for the last 2 Modules of the examination can do so after completion of 1 year of the examination.
• Candidates who have completed their graduation can appear for all 4 Modules of the O Level exams together.

Aim of the NIELIT O Level Exams

The main aim of the O Level Exam is to help the students gain knowledge in the foundations of Computer Technology.
