Several Private Engineering colleges also conduct their own entrance exams. The exam pattern for each college is different and candidates seeking B.Tech Admission to the Private colleges can go to their official websites for information on the exam patterns. Most of these Private Engineering colleges take Computer-based online exams while some colleges prefer the Offline, pen, and paper-based mode. The B.Tech admission to the Private Engineering colleges is merit-based and on the scores obtained by the candidates in the Entrance exams. Candidates who have a valid score in the JEE main exam can also apply for the B.Tech Courses at Private Colleges and Universities.
