MNS Result 2024

MNS Result: The result of the Indian Army BSc. The nursing exam will be released by the Directorate General of Medical Services on the official website of the Indian Army i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. The candidates who have appeared in the Military Nursing Service Exam 2024 will be able to check and download their results from the official website by logging in to the website using their user ID, D.O.B, and password.

The Military Nursing Result 2024 will be released in PDF Format and it only includes the name of the qualified candidates, their roll no.'s, and their interview timetable. Please note that the Directorate General of Medical Services has not released any official notification or DNS Result date. Therefore all the candidates are humbly requested to wait until the release of any official notification.

Candidates who will qualify for the computer-based Military Nursing Service exam will become eligible to appear in the next selection round which will be a personal interview round and a Medical examination for Military Nursing Service.

In the personal interview round, the candidate will have to come for an interview where her knowledge and personality will be tested by the authorities and then after the interview, she will have to undergo a medical examination in which an X-ray and Ultrasound will be done.

The Indian Army BSc. Nursing is an entrance examination that is conducted every year to provide admissions to female aspirants who want to serve as a Nurse in the Indian Army. The admissions are provided in the six nursing colleges of the Indian Army and candidates are allotted the seats in these colleges according to their overall score.

How to Check the MNS Result 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Indian Army i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in

Step 2: find the Indian Army BSc. Nursing result link on the home page. This link will be provided on the website only after the official declaration of the result.

Step 3: Click on the link and you will be redirected to a new page that will display the serial no. roll no. and marks secured by the candidates who have qualified in the MNS Exam 2024. 

Step 4: Press Ctrl+F on your keyboard enter your MNS Roll no. in the bar and then press the Enter button. 

Step 5: Now you will be redirected to your roll no. , check your marks, and take a printout for further reference.

NOTE: Candidates who have qualified for the exam will be able to see their names in the result sheet. The MNS Result 2024 pdf download is available now. The candidates whose names are mentioned in the result will be called for the next round i.e. an interview and medical examination. Candidates who will qualify for all three of these rounds will be able to find their names on the Final Merit list.

MNS Result 2024 - Interview

After the result declaration of the Indian Army BSc. Nursing Written exam, an interview call letter will be sent to all the qualifying candidates. They will receive this interview call letter on their registered email addresses. The MNS Interview call letter will include the timings and venue of the interview, the name of the documents that are required to be carried along, and other important details of the interview.

The candidates must take out the printouts of the MNS Interview call letter. On the day of the interview, report to the allotted venue at the time mentioned in the call letter. Try to reach the venue one hour early, this will help you to avoid the struggle to find the interview center.

Candidates must clear the interview if they want to get selected for the Military Nursing Service. However, merely qualifying the MNS Interview 2024 doesn't provide any guarantee to get your name included in the final MNS Merit list 2024. The candidates who will qualify for the interview round will be sent for the Medical examination in which they will have to go through some medical tests such as Chest X-ray and ultrasound (Abdomen and pelvis).

The MNS Final Merit list 2024 will be prepared based on the performance in the exam, interview, and medical test results and only 220 candidates will be selected for admission to BSc. The nursing program is offered by Army Nursing Colleges and after the completion of the course, the candidates will become eligible to serve in the Indian Army as professional Nurses.

Military Nursing Service Result 2024 - Medical Examination

As previously mentioned, after the interview round the candidates will be sent for the medical examination. This is the third most crucial and last stage which will determine your final selection for Military Nursing Service 2024.

MNS Medical Test Criteria

  1. 152 cm is the minimum height required in MNS, and for the Gorkhas or candidates who belong to north-east India they got relaxation in height as 148cm is considered the Gorkhas candidates.
  2. Chest should be 77 cm without expansion, and with expansion, 82 cm is considered.
  3. Their is a 14 dental points are the minimum no. of points required.
  4. Candidates should not carry any type of genetic disease.
  5. The elbow should not be in the outer direction for more than 15 degrees.
  6. Candidates who have severe fractures in any body parts are not allowed
  7. Eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses.
  8. Chest X-ray for lungs.
  9. Blood Test
  10. Urine Test

MNS Merit List 2024

The Indian Army BSc. The nursing final Merit list will be released after the completion of the selection process. Once the authorities are done with all three stages (Exam, Interview, and Medical Examination), they will release a final merit list which will have the names of the nursing aspirants who have qualified for all three stages of the selection procedure.

It is mandatory to qualify in all three stages to get your name shortlisted in the merit list. The listed candidates will be called for admission based on this Military Nursing Service Merit List. Please note that there is an availability of 220 seats in the 6 Army Nursing colleges. The seats will be allotted based on the candidate's preference and availability of the seat in the respective college.

Important Note for the Students who are in 10+2

Indian Army Nursing aspirants who are currently in the last year of their higher secondary education (10+2) and had qualified to get shortlisted for Military Nursing Service 2024 will have to immediately send self-attested copies of their qualifying exam mark sheet on the address mentioned below:

Documents Required During the MNS Admission

Once the student gets selected and gets his/her name on the MNS Final Merit list 2024, the candidate will have to visit the admission center with all the required documents for the verification process. Below are the documents that need to be carried by the selected candidates during the counseling and document verification process:

  • Aadhaar ID card
  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
  • Gap certificate in case of a gap of 2 years or more between class 10 and 12
  • Proof of regular candidature from school last studied in 
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate
  • Nationality certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Two character certificates from different gazetted officers
  • Certificate from the principal attesting study of class 12th
  • Class 12 hall ticket
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Army/ Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate of proof in case of war widows or dependents of armed personnel killed

Indian Army BSc. Nursing 2024 Seat Matrix

MNS Exam: Reservation Criteria

Every the Indian Army BSc. The nursing exam is conducted to offer admissions to the 220 candidates in the 6 Army nursing colleges. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for this nursing entrance exam and after the completion of their course, they become qualified to serve in the Indian Army as nurses. However, there is a reservation criterion which strictly followed during the admission and seat allotment process.

Out of 220 seats, 25 seats are reserved for the SC/ST category candidates whereas 15 seats are reserved for the candidates possessing NCC "C" certificates. Please note that the reserved seats will be allocated to the candidates of the SC/ST category and NCC"C" holding candidates based on the marks and rank secured by them as mentioned in the final merit list. If these candidates are unwilling to fill the reserved seats, then the same seats will be allotted to the candidates from General category students based on the merit list.
