B.Sc Nursing course is a graduation degree where candidates will study Bachelor of Science with specialization in nursing, It is a 4-year program after which students can serve in the nursing field. 

Students with science stream (PCB) in 10+2 are eligible to do B.Sc Nursing after their completion of 10+2 from a recognized body. Candidates can pursue B.Sc Nursing after Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least a minimum aggregate of 50% from a reputed institute. Admission in B.Sc Nursing can be done on the basis of 10+2 aggregate or through an entrance exam, Various institutes give admission on the basis of entrance exam whereas some institutions provide admission on a merit basis. 

The scope after B.Sc Nursing is really good as the candidate can go for higher studies in M.Sc Nursing or Post Graduate Diploma with any specialization, If the candidate wants to serve in the field after B.Sc Nursing candidate can move further as the job opportunities in this field can never be fulfilled, Nursing staff will be needed to assist doctors and for taking care of patients.

B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria:

B.Sc Nursing course is a 4-year program in which there are 3 options to seek admission in B.Sc Nursing Course.

The eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Sc Nursing is mentioned below:

For Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Candidates need to pass 10+2 examinations with Science Stream (PCB) from a recognised board.

Candidates should have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 exams.

Candidates should be physically and mentally fit.

For B.Sc Nursing Post Basic Course

Candidates should be 11th pass with a diploma in G.N.M (General Nursing Midwifery).

Candidates need to register themself with the state nurses registration council as R.N.R.M.

B.Sc Nursing Duration

B.Sc Nursing Course is an Undergraduate program of 4 Years, In which candidates will be trained how to handle patients, how to take care of ill persons. In this period of 4 years, candidates will study nursing and Midwifery with some theory and practical exposure too. 

B.Sc Nursing Fees

The Bachelors of Science in nursing is a popular program, various institutes offer B.Sc Nursing their fee structures differ from one another but the approx fees for B.Sc Nursing is 20,000 to 2,00,000. It may differ from institute to institute as some government colleges offer B.Sc Nursing with a minimum fee structure whereas fee structure in private colleges/universities is quite high.

B.Sc Nursing Admission Process:

To seek admission in the B.Sc Nursing program candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria first only after that they can apply for B.S Nursing.
