Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) was established in the year 1984. It is also known as a top engineering college in India. The institute was earlier affiliated (1984-1999) to the University of Lucknow. Currently, the college is recognised by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

The admission process is done on the basis of rank obtained by candidates in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Admission Test) /GATE Entrance Exam.

Facilities-

The college has an excellent library. A rich collection of books, international journals, newspaper and magazines. There are also stocks of CD-Roms and old copies of periodicals.

The new feature of the digital library is also available in the institute to give students an exposure. Computer labs have 250+ computer system with the latest software. 24 hours high-speed internet is accessible to the students in the campus.

The institutes have highly experienced and well-mannered faculty members in the college. They always encourage and support the students. The goal of the teachers is to provide the best education in the field of technical and management.

The medical facility is also supplied in the college. In case of emergency, the ambulance service is available on call. The college has tied up with PNB for the opening saving account. Punjab National Bank is also open within the campus for students’ comfort

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech-

Candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects.
Minimum 50% marks are required.
Grace marks will not be considered.
For lateral entry, the candidate should have a three-year engineering diploma in the related field.

M.Tech-

Applicants must have secured 60% marks in BE/B.Tech.
A valid score in GATE Entrance Exam.

MBA-

Students must have 3 years bachelor degree in any filed.
Minimum 50% marks are required.
A valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT.

MCA-

Aspirants should have a BCA degree from any recognised board.
At least 50% marks are secured in BCA.

Hostel

Institute of Engineering and Technology provides the separate hostel facility for boys and girls. IET has 6 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. The hostel is located on the campus and has full facilities for the students.

Security guards and wardens always take care of the hostel. The entire hostel is managed under the supervision of the Dean, Warden and Faculty.

Each room is spacious and airy with separate washroom. Healthy and tasty foods are served in the mess. 24 * 7 Clean water and power is supply in the hostel.

All basic amenities are provided by the college. Each hostel has a common television room, telephone, and kit for indoor/outdoor games.
