Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology

Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in India. It is affiliated with A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Lucknow. The college was established in 1997 by the City Educational and Social Welfare Society. The institute provides various Undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The institute is ranked 4th Engineering College in Uttar Pradesh by MTU/GBTU. MIET has a total of 400 academic staff. The academic environment of the institute has always managed to keep students innovate and learning something new.

The placement of the company is excellent. More than 200 companies visit the campus. Extra-curricular activities are also organized from time to time so that students enjoy and discover their interests.  

It is the best and oldest institution that imparts top-of-the-line knowledge to students. MIT ensures that each student turns out to be competent. Internet services are accessible throughout the campus. Computer labs remain open for 2 hours after institute timings.

The college is equipped with 1650 computers in 45 labs. The library is huge and one can access any kind of book ranging from science novels to novels to refreshers. Not only students but staff can also issue books. The library provides a hot spot for students for exam study and brainstorming.

An on-campus hostel facility is also added with 900 seats to accommodate boys and 300 for girls.27 buses run daily to pick and drop off students. It covers almost all parts of Meerut to make transportation easy for students.

A canteen is also installed on the campus which provides fresh, healthy, and hygienic food. Keeping the need of students in mind, PNB ATM is also installed at the gate of the college. RO systems are also provided at every point of the hostel and campus.
