Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Meerut. It was founded in the year 2009 Under the flagship of Uma Shankar Educational Trust. This institution falls under the list of top 100 engineering colleges. The college imparts education in engineering fields.

The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Bachelor of Technology is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and Diploma courses are affiliated with the Board of Technical Education.

The college has a modern and state-of-the-art library.  The library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. The institute has a digital library for students with more than 10,000 titles. Book bank facility is also provided to the students on a semester basis.

Sports Facility:-

In DIET college, sports fests are organized every year in which a lot of students participate in the games and win the Prizes. The aim of sports is to maintain or improve physical ability.

Transportation:-

The college has a plethora of buses for providing transport facilities to its students. The transport facility is easily accessible because the college is situated near the highway.

Hostel:-

DIET provides a residential facility for both girls and boys students at a cheap rate. In the hostel, rooms are allocated by the warden on the basis of first come first serve method. There are twin and triple sharing rooms available.
