Neelkanth Group of Institutions was formed in 2007 by the Shri Shiv Venkateshwara Educational and Social Welfare Trust with the express aim of producing engineers, managers, and entrepreneurs who can fulfill the growing needs of the expanding Indian economy.

The campus extends over an area of 65 acres in Meerut, NCR (National Capital Region) in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It offers 11 courses under different specializations. It has provided placement to 6,000+ students since its inception with the highest package of 11.50 LPA. It emerged as the ICT Institution of the Year 2013 and bagged the position of Best Emerging Institute with Academic Excellence in Uttar Pradesh
