Shanti Institute of Technology

Shanti Institute of Technology (S.I.T.) is located in Meerut city. It was established by the Shanti Educational Society in the year 2008. The Institute is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E, MHRD, GOI, New Delhi) and the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

The college offers several UG, PG and Diploma courses in multiple specialisations. BBA and BCA courses are affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The main aim of SIT is to update and modernize the quality of education. Shanti Institute is one of the best private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. There are a team of experienced faculty members. They impart world-class knowledge to the students.

Lecture Halls-

The college building is equipped with large classrooms. All lectures hall are logistically designed to impart high-quality education and to have a dynamic learning process. These lecture halls are well furnished with modern teaching aids like overhead projectors, Multimedia aids, LCD etc.

Library-

The Institution has a well-equipped library with a rich collection of books, newspapers, magazines, journals, research papers and periodicals etc. All these materials are related to the fields of Management and Technology. The library has a separate reading hall where students can study. The Library also includes audio-visual facilities. The Shanti Group has a subscription of DELNET, which allows the students to work on the digital network of libraries belonging to Premier Institutions across the world. SINET facility is also accessible to study programmes of other Universities. The campus is also equipped with a WiFi facility.

Various tours are planned for students from time to time. Through this, students grab knowledge about the corporate world.

Hostel Facilities-

Separate residence facilities are available for boys and girls with proper Food, Electricity and proper guidance under the warden.

Medical Facility-

The college also provides medical facilities to the students. In the case of emergency, ambulance and doctors are called on the campus. The institution provides Group Mediclaim and Accident Policy which protects students adequately against sudden health emergencies.

Shanti Institute has its own plethora of buses for students and staff to commute, at very nominal yearly charges.

Banking Service-

The Institute has a tie-up with Nationalized Bank. Allahabad bank is placed near the college with the ATM facility. Students and faculty members can make the transaction. It allows opening and operating of accounts for every student through cheque book or debit cards. The loan facility for education is also provided to the student from the campus by the banks.

Mess / Cafeteria-

At Shanti college, the mess facility is provided for its residents which offers a variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental snacks, Vegetarian food and Non-Vegetarian meals on demand, to cater to the multiethnic tastes of the students. The cafeteria of the college is huge where fast foods, Indian foods are available. Soft drinks, Quality snacks, other beverages and lunch are served here at a genuine price, both to the students and staff members.
