Era University was established by Era Educational Trust (EET) with the main aims and objectives of providing educational facilities to the needy and deserving population of the society. EU is the best private engineering university in Lucknow. EET has been recognised as a "Centre of Excellence" in computer application, management, training, and research.

The campus is spread over the 65-acre lush green area. It is located 10 Km away from Lucknow railway station. They offer the Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Computer Application with Postgraduate Diploma courses and other various programmes.

The air-conditioned cafeteria is available on the campus. There is a separate modern catering facility for students and staff within the college. Healthy and hygienic food is offered in the canteen.

Era University provides the separate hostel facility for boys and girls within the campus. There are twin sharing rooms available with all basic facility. Each room is spacious and airy with study table, almirah and attached washroom.

A new girls hostel is also equipped on the campus. Water cooler and the fridge facility is provided on each floor of the hostel. Air-conditioned and Non-air-conditioned rooms are available. Healthy and tasty food is served in the mess.
