In 2017, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology was reinstated within the University of Lucknow, emerging as one of its prominent faculties. The faculty envisions global recognition for delivering exceptional engineering education with a pioneering focus on an interdisciplinary approach. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Lucknow is responsible for offering engineering education and conducting research in the field of technology.
Its core mission is to cultivate morally conscious, dynamic, and skilled engineering professionals who will lead the nation toward a brighter tomorrow. The faculty offers a comprehensive B.Tech. program across five engineering disciplines: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Additionally, it provides BCA and MCA programs. Admission to the B.Tech and MCA programs occurs through UPSEE, which is administered by Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Situated in Lucknow’s Jankipuram extension, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology is located within the University’s second campus. The faculty endeavors to merge sustainable development principles with its teaching approach, fostering eco-consciousness. Moreover, the campus has embarked on energy conservation initiatives, including the harnessing of solar energy resources.
