Doon College of Engineering & Technology (DCET) was established in 2004 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Educational Society. The society is a non-profit making charitable society established in 2002, the aim of the society is to evolve knowledge centers of excellence in education, training, research, and consultancy in various fields. The college is located in NH-72-A, Delhi-Dehradun Road Vill. & P.O. SUNDERPUR, Tehsil Behat Distt. Saharanpur (U.P). The Doon College of Engineering & Technology is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) & Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The aim of the Doon College of Engineering & Technology is to upskill its students to make them efficient and train them to work as leaders and effectively in the professional world.

Campus

The infrastructure of the Institute is designed to be most versatile in terms of providing the best education. The institution has all the resources to give a great learning experience to its students. The institution is approved by AICTE and is ready to set the ball in motion from 2009. The campus is located in a pollution-free zone of Uttar Pradesh, it is covered with greenery and a peaceful place to learn. The campus distance from Roorkee railway station is 25k.m, it is the nearest railway station. The nearest Inter State Bus Stand is Dehradun which is 30 k.m away from the campus. 

Laboratories

The Doon College of Engineering & Technology aims to provide methodologies and practical skills to its students thus the college has made sure to provide essential resources for better education.

Chemistry Lab: In this lab, students refine their conceptual knowledge of applied chemistry with the help of chemical reagents and other tools.

Physics Lab: Physics Lab is a compulsory lab for all B.Tech first-year students. In this lab, students refine their conceptual knowledge of applied physics with the help of state of the Art scientific tools.

Basic Electrical & Electronic Lab: The lab is fully equipped with modern technology devices. Bread Broad realization for each specified experiment of Basic Electrical & Electronic Engineering lab so the students can understand all practical aspects of the experiments.

Computer System Programming Lab: This lab is compulsory for all B.Tech- 1st-year students. Students are provided with exhaustive exposure to C language, DOS, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, EXCEL, ACCESS, etc), UNIX Commands, and the application fundamentals of programming.

Workshop: Engineering students are supposed to be problem solvers. They must be able to get a glimpse of all kinds of work that happens in any kind of industry irrespective of his/her specialization. 

Transport Facility

The campus is well connected with public transport, it is easy for students and staff to travel. The institute has its own transport fleet of buses for students and staff. The bus runs between the city and neighboring areas. 

Canteen

The canteen is situated on the main building’s left-wing. The canteen serves a variety of food, snacks, and beverages at reasonable prices for both students and staff.
