How to apply for admission to JBIT, Dehradun?

Candidates who are interested in getting admission to JBIT Dehradun can apply for admission as the college is inviting applications currently. You can fill out the JBIT Dehradun Application Form online as well as online. 

Here are the steps to fill out the online application:

• Visit the official website of JB Institute of Technology, Dehradun.
• On the homepage, click on the "Apply now" button available on the left side of the screen near the inquiry form.
• Now fill out the displayed form to register yourself with the website. Enter your name, mobile no. , email, and other required details and click on "Apply now".
• Now an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no. , enter that OTP on your web page.
• Now you will be logged in to the website, Fill out the JBIT Application form 2024 with all the required details, and upload the required documents in the specified format.
• Once all the details are entered, pay the application fee by using any online payment mode such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or E-wallets.
• Once you receive the notification of a successful payment, Submit your JBIT Application form.

Offline Application:

• Take a printout of the form and fill in all the required information as specified in the form.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Course

• Minimum 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as main subjects or any other relevant subjects. The passing certificate must be obtained from a recognized board of education.
• The admissions are based on the JEE-Mains ranks secured by the applicants.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech course

• Minimum 55% marks in B.Tech Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering or 55% marks in MCA/MSc. Computer Science. The graduation degree must be obtained from a recognized university.
• Admissions are based on 10+2 merit or GATE/UKSEE entrance scores.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharma Course

• Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as main subjects. Students who have completed their Diploma course in Pharmacy are also eligible to apply for the B.Pharm course.
• Admissions are done through NEET UG scores or UKSEE scores obtained by the candidates. Candidates are also admitted on the basis of their performance in 10+2 board examinations.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for BSc. Agriculture Course

• Candidates who have completed their 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board.
• The admissions to BSc. Agriculture course is based on merit obtained by the candidate in the 10+2 board exams or equivalent.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for D.Parma Course

• Students who have completed their 10+2 in the Science stream are eligible to pursue a Diploma in Pharmacy.
• The admissions are based on your 10+2 academic performance and a personal interview conducted by the Institute.
• JBIT Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) Course
• The candidates who have completed 10th with subjects like Science, Mathematics, and English and have obtained passing marks in the board examination are eligible to apply for Diploma in Engineering courses. 
• The admissions are purely based on JEEP (Joint Entrance Exam of Polytechnic) entrance exam scores. Candidates can also apply for admission to Management Quota seats.

JBIT Eligibility Criteria for BBA Course

• Candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with passing marks are eligible to apply
• The admissions are based on the merit secured by the candidate in the 10+2 board examination.

JBIT Dehradun Hostel

JBIT offers comfortable and safe hostel accommodation to the students within the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls on campus, The boys' hostel of JBIT has an accommodating capacity of 500 students and the girls' hostel can accommodate over 300 students.

The students have options to choose from single-bedded cubicle rooms, double-sharing rooms, and triple-sharing rooms. The hostel management also provides the mess facility and the hostel’s mess hall has a seating capacity of around 180 people at a time.
