Shiva Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET)was started in the year 2009 in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. This Institute was accredited by NAAC and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education. The college is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Technical University(HPTU).

SIET is a Private Institution and offers courses in 5 disciplines of Engineering namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, and Engineering.

The Shiva Group started with the Shiva College of Education in 2007 with a capacity of 200 seats. This was the 1st College of education in the Bilaspur district under the Shiva Education Society. In 2013 the Shiva Group started the Shiva Polytechnic which offers Diploma courses in Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

The other Institutions under the Group include the Shiva Institute of Pharmacy, Shiva International School, and the Shiva Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital.
