Career Point University (CPU) is a Private University that is located in the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and was established in the year 2012. The Institute has been approved by the University Grants Commission and received the Bharat Gaurav and Himachal Rattan awards in 2019.

Career Point University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). CPU is located in the serene and pollution-free location of Himachal Pradesh and has a state of art campus. Career Point University is located in the pollution-free environment of Himachal Pradesh. The campus has a state of the art architecture with all the modern teaching amenities that provide a favorable environment for academics and research. CPU campus has all the necessary amenities that are completely modernized like hostels, library, science and computer labs, auditorium, administrative office, common rooms, mess, cafeteria, transport, and sports facilities.

Hostels:

Career Point University has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with the privacy of the students retained. Hostels are secured and at a convenient location from the classrooms and have all the necessities to make a student feel at home. The hostel rooms are furnished, clean, and airy with well-maintained washrooms and common rooms for recreation. Medical facilities are available at the CPU campus and sick students are attended by a registered practitioner and nursing attendant.  The college mess and cafeteria serve a variety of meals and refreshments for the students.

Auditorium:

The University has a multipurpose auditorium to hold seminars, meetings, conferences, and panel discussions.

Library:

Career Point University has a well-equipped library that has books, journals, magazines, rare books, project reports, Ph.D. thesis, dissertations, and e-resources. The library is fully automated and accessible to all the students and the faculty members of the CPU. Career Point University library uses the open-source software KOHA and is a member of DELNET. There is a high-speed broadband connection within the library premises. The library is spacious with numerous workstations for studying and browsing academic works from e-resources.

Transportation:

CPU, Hamirpur offers transportation facilities for its students with convenient pickup and drop points at Hamirpur, Bilaspur, and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh. Students who do not stay at the Career Point University hostel can carry on their daily commuting to and from the college by paying the transport fee at the beginning of the session.

Sports:

Along with academics, Career Point University also pays attention to the health and fitness of the students. The University has amenities for both indoor and outdoor games. For the outdoor games, there are state of art courts for basketball, football, cricket, and Lawn tennis. Indoor games include Carrom, table tennis, and chess. The University also has a health club and an experienced Instructor to help the students carry on their daily fitness activities.
