Bahra University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh:

Bahra University is located in the Solan District of Himachal Pradesh,  surrounded by the picturesque environment of the Shimla Hills and spread across 25 acres of the land.  The university offers numerous UG, PG, and research programs across the disciplines of Technology, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and many more, BU, Shimla was established in 2011 by the State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The admissions to the university are based on the scores in various entrance examinations such as JEE-Main, HPCET, GATE, GPAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT, or university-based entrance tests.

The University was established by Rayat Bahra Group which is one of the leading private education groups in India, the group has 2 global universities, 2 international campuses,  6 campuses across 3 states of India, and about 65 recognized institutes affiliated with the university. About 23,000 students have been successfully placed by the university till now and still counting. BU, Shimla is also a proud member of the Association of Indian University (AIU).
