• Students have to appear in the JEE Main entrance exam.

For Master of Technology: Apply For M.Tech Admission

• Attaining a Master of Technology degree requires successful completion of a B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized university. 
• Students must have scored 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA in their graduate degree. 
• Students have to appear in the GATE entrance examination for selection. 
• The students will be selected based on the marks scored in the GATE entrance exam. 
• If a student is not qualified for GATE then he/she can go for the PGET entrance exam which is conducted by the Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan. 
• 10% of seats are reserved in the Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan for the students who have done their class 12th from Himachal Pradesh.

For Master of Science:

• Students must have completed their graduate degree in a relevant stream (BSc) from any recognized university.
• Students must have scored 60% of marks in their graduate degree. 
• The Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan offers a master of science in four streams.
• The selection of the students is based on the merit list which is followed by the counseling process. 

For Doctorate of Philosophy:

• To get admission to the Doctorate of Philosophy, students have to complete a master’s degree in a relevant stream from a recognized university. 
• Students have to appear in the entrance test to get admission to the Jaypee University of Information Technology.
• The selection of the students is based on the entrance test conducted by the university. The entrance test is conducted in the month of June by the university.
