Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies (BUEST) was established in the year 2002 and recognized as a University by UGC in 2009. The campus of the university is spread across 40 acres of land in Baddi town of Himachal Pradesh. Baddi University offers various Diploma, UG, PG, and P.h.D courses in the disciplines of Education, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Management and Technology. Admission to most of the professional degree courses is given on the basis of the Entrance examination conducted by the University or national level and state level entrance examinations.

The university has a faculty team of  200 highly qualified members including Ph.D. degree holders from reputed institutes. Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technology has formed 6 schools to impart education in various disciplines :
