Infrastructure of DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab

The overall infrastructure of the DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology is very good and the campus is well organized. The Institute is divided into several blocks. The core block consists of the  Departments of Applied Sciences and Information Technology with well-equipped and modernized laboratories.

Besides the core block, DAVIET has other blocks like the Research and Development block, Undergraduate block, postgraduate block, and the Material Science Block.

DAV Institute has a world-class knowledge center that consists of essential facilities like ATM, Central library, and bank. The DAV auditorium which is called the Lala Chanchal Dass auditorium is centrally air-conditioned and has a seating capacity of 1200. Besides having modern lighting and sound systems to host cultural programs, the auditorium also has amenities for indoor games like badminton and table tennis.

The DAVIET Convention Hall is located in the PG Block and has the necessary audio-visual aids to house seminars, discussions, and small functions.

The hostels of DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab have all the modern facilities and are ISO 9001-2000 Certified. The hostels are well-maintained and have separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with a proper water supply and electricity for the convenience of the students. Both boy's and girls' hostels have 24 hours security and round-the-clock medical assistance for the students.

The hostel has a canteen that serves healthy and nutritious food. The hostel menu is curated keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the students. There are wifi facilities and students have access to high-speed internet. The PG hostels have air-conditioned rooms that are available on a first-come first-serve basis. The hostels have clean washrooms and laundry facilities for the benefit of the students.

DAVIET has a sports complex that is spread over a large area. There are basketball courts, football courts and indoor games like table tennis. The college arranges inter-college sports tournaments and competitions that help the students to stay healthy and motivated.
