The University Institute of Engineering and Technology is also known as the School of Engineering and Technology. UIET is affiliated with CSJM University and is spread over the 264-acre sprawling, lush green campus of the university. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The institute offers six B. Tech courses in five wings of engineering, i.e., Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering. Apart from B.Tech programs, UIET also offers bachelor and master programs in Computer Application, PG Diploma courses, and Vocational courses. 

The institute has an assemblage of engineering, science, and technology books in the central library of the university, and has an individual division for UIET. The entire library stock is digitally arranged. The Computer Science and Engineering wing has specified labs like the microprocessor lab. The university auditorium acts as a center for academic, extra-curricular, and cultural activities. Students are either residing in the hostels of the university or live in the city.
