- The marks in Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) were considered till the year 2009 for admissions in Masters of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and also for granting fellowships or scholarships to Pharmacy graduates along with engineering graduates.
The Organizing Committee for GATE expressed its inability to include Pharmacy graduates in the GATE entrance test with effect from the year 2010, owing to operational problems stating the reason that a large number of candidates appearing for the GATE examination.
