BA Hindi Course Admission and Eligibility:

The general process for admission to the program is merit-based. The students who wish to gain admission in this course, need to score a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 Board exam and at least 50% marks in their 10th-grade exam. 

Students who do not achieve the required marks will not be eligible to apply to government colleges. They may need to take admission in private institutions that provide BA Hindi course. 

However, there are some universities such as Banaras University, that conducts an Entrance exam for admission. Students must score a minimum of 50% marks to be considered for admission.

There are no particular eligibility criteria for admission in the BA Hindi course.

  • The student must have passed his/her 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Hindi should have been his compulsory language subject and not English.

BA Hindi Course Syllabus:

The BA Hindi course is a 3- year undergraduate course divided into 6 semesters. The program consists of 10 common subjects, 14 core courses, 8 complementary courses, 2 choice-based courses, and project work. 

  • The common courses include six courses in English and four courses in Hindi. 
  • Fourteen core-courses are dedicated to Hindi language and literature. 
  • The eight complementary courses are professionally designed to aid in the core courses. 

The choice-based courses are entirely job-oriented so that students can gain an advantage.
