Difference Between the Provisional Result and Original Result:

It is declared a few weeks after the exam. The school management has to check the answer sheets of every student who appears in the exam. Some students do not qualify for the main exam on their first attempt. For such students, the management conducts the supplementary exam after the declaration of the main exam results.

The supplementary result is declared one or two weeks after the exam. Thus, the educational institution declares a provisional result for students who qualify for the main exam. And the original result will be declared after the supplementary exam. So, both kinds of candidates can get the original result on time.

• If you use a provisional document after the availability of the original document, your application form will be canceled. Also, you may have to pay some penalties.
