The Directorate of Government Examinations is known as the AP SSC Board in the state. The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) authority is responsible for the management and development of secondary level school education in the state working under the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Similarly, the class 11th Exam is conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP). The Andhra Pradesh Education Board was set up in 1971 with the vision to regulate and supervise secondary-level education in the state.
