Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) is a self-governing body that regulates and oversees the policy of Secondary education in the state of Andhra Pradesh every year. The board was incepted in the year 1953 and headquartered in the Vijayawada city of Andhra Pradesh. It functions as an independent body that performs functions as an independent authority under the Andhra Pradesh's Department of Education.
BSEAP is responsible for executing and governing different activities that involve the formulation of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, administering examinations, conferring recognition to various schools and institutes. Also, it provides management, administration, support, and leadership for all the secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction. The official language of the board is Telugu and the people living here speak the same language.
AP Board usually releases the date-sheet for class 10th board examination in the month of December. Students are advised to keep themselves updated by contributing to this portal.
The Board conducts the examinations once in a year and generates the merit list of students after the SSC Board examination. As per the information, the AP Board 10th examination is going to be held from 18th of March, 2019 till 2nd of April 2019. Near about 6 lakhs students have registered to appear in the examination. Out of 6,13,378 candidates, 3,15,508 are male aspirants and 2,97,870 girls are females which includes 6,04,527 regular candidates and 8,851 private candidates and are willing to appear for the SSC examination.
