Ayurvedic is a system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. The origins of Ayurveda trace back to 6,000 BCE when it originated as an oral tradition. It is one of the very few ancient systems of medicine that is still widely used today. It flourished throughout the Indian Middle Ages.
