Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is an undergraduate program in the dentistry field. Candidates who have completed 10+2 exams with passing marks are eligible to pursue the BDS course. The duration of the BDS course is 4-5 years (divided into 10 semesters) including a one-year mandatory internship. During the course, students learn about the denture, dental problems and surgery. BDS is a job oriented course which gives many avenues of employment in the hospital, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industries for fresh BDS graduates. This course is pursued either as a regular graduate course or part-time graduate course through correspondence and distance learning program.

After completing the BDS course, you are able to practice as a dentist. NEET: NEET is a national level exam which is necessary to qualify for admission in medical courses. It is accepted by prestigious institutes like Banaras Hindu University and Armed Forces Medical College.
AIPMT: The exam is conducted by CBSE - Central Board of Secondary Education. After passing this exam, you will be eligible to get admission in most of the top universities. The syllabus for this exam includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
