The Awareness in Computer Concepts is mainly conducted by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, NIELIT, previously referred to as DOEACC.

ACC Course is basically a Computer Certification course that helps the individual to gain basic computer knowledge and Understanding of Financial Literacy. Like other certificate courses of NIELIT, this Course is also an upgraded and advanced course, for which candidates need to go through an institute.

It includes the study of basic computer operations, the concept of Online Banking, using a word processor, and many more. ACC Course can be completed within a short interval of time i.e- for 20 hours-including 9 hrs of theoretical study and 11 hrs of Practical study.

Applicants need not acquire any minimum educational qualification in order to pursue the course and appear in the examination only an elementary knowledge of English is required.
