UTET Exam Pattern 2026

UTET Exam Pattern 2026: UTET will be conducted to recruit candidates who meet the Eligibility criteria for the posts of teachers at the primary and upper primary level in Government schools of Uttarakhand. The exam is expected to be conducted in November 2026 for aspiring teachers in the state of Uttarakhand.

• Authority: UTET Exam Pattern will be released by the UVEC (Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Education Council) with details regarding the number of questions, UTET Syllabus, and mark distribution. you can check the Uttarakhand Exam Pattern 2026 on its official site.
• No. of Papers: There will be two papers for UTET Exam Pattern 2026.  Paper 1 for candidates applying for the position of primary level teachers (class 1 to class 5) and Paper 2 for candidates applying for the position of upper primary level teachers (class 6 to class 8).
• Position: Any candidate who is applying for both the job positions should sit for both the papers.
• Mode of examination: UTET Exam is conducted in offline mode (pen paper-based)
• Types of Questions: objective type -Multiple Choice Questions  
• Total no. of questions: 150 questions 
• Marking process: 1 mark for every correct answer. 
• Time allotted: 2 hours and 30 minutes 

Negative marking: There is no negative marking in this examination. 

• Language in the Exam: English and Hindi 
• Minimum qualifying score: 60% i.e. 90
