The registration process is one of the most crucial steps a student of class 11th must complete. The registration process ensures that the student is registered with the CBSE Board. He receives all the important alerts, results, latest news, Admit card, etc from the official web portal.
The students of CBSE Board Class 11th can register themselves with the help of the school authorities (Offline) or themselves (Online) through the official web portal of CBSE.
The online mode is usually for students who are distance learners, non-regular students, or simply students who prefer to register themselves. The offline mode is for regular students who attend school on a daily basis.

For online mode, students must follow the steps below:
☛ Visit the official website of CBSE i.e cbse.gov.in
☛ Click on the ‘Click for CBSE Website’.
☛ Head over to the ‘In Focus’ section.
☛ Click on the registration form for the Class 11th Examination’.
☛ A new window will appear.
☛ Enter your User ID and Password, which will be provided to you by your school or equivalent authority.
☛ Once clicked, the new window bearing the registration form will appear.
☛ Carefully fill in the details asked.
☛ Click on the submit button once you have checked the information given.
☛ Pay the required registration fee through net banking, Debit/Credit Card, etc.
☛ You have now successfully registered yourself, and a confirmation link will be provided to you on your email id or mobile number.
Students must ensure that they fill in the details carefully and double-check before submitting the form. Once an error occurs after submission, it is a very hard and long process to get it fixed. Also, students may need to fill out an online fee for redressal.
The offline mode for checking the CBSE Board Class 11th Registration Form, for regular students who are attending school daily, is that the school completes the registration procedure on behalf of the students.
Students need to provide their valid and necessary details, (which are submitted to the school at the time of admission) such as Address proof, Identity proof, 10th-grade mark sheet, etc.
The students will be given a form where all the subjects they have chosen will be listed and they have to sign it. Once signed, the school registers the students on the CBSE database.
