M.Pharm Course: The M.Pharma Course or the Masters in Pharmacy is a post-graduate level course usually opted by students after the completion of their Bachelor or B.Pharma. It is a two-year course, covered in the span of four semesters.
In some universities, however, this course is also offered for one year as research-based and one year theoretical. The course deals with the related topics of chemical sciences, division of health, and other such subtopics related that lead to the proper utilization of pharmaceutical drugs.
The candidate interested in pursuing the M.Pharm Course must have completed his/her Bachelor’s from a recognized board or university, with an aggregate of 50% marks or above. The course aims at equipping students with the necessary knowledge of practical aspects of research methodologies, industrial operations, and techniques, research methodologies, etc.
It teaches students to prepare for the proper utilization, dispensing, and preparation of pharmaceutical drugs to ensure safe and effective health with minimum side effects.
Candidates after completing their M.Pharm degree need to submit a thesis and appear for an entrance exam. Students can also opt for specializing fields within the degree.
