MBA Course Eligibility criteria might slightly vary from one college to another. But The basic eligibility requirements to pursue an MBA course which is demanded by most of the MBA Colleges are as follows:

  • The candidate seeking admission to an MBA course must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must score a minimum of 50% marks at graduation level but some renowned colleges like IITs and IIMs ask for a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in graduation as a minimum eligibility requirement. A relaxation of 5% will be provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category. The minimum percentage required in graduation courses may vary from college to college.
  • The candidates who are appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for admissions to an MBA course. Such candidates have to present the documented proof of completion of graduation within the time specified by the college/university.
  • Some well-known colleges like XLRI Jamshedpur, ISB Hyderabad, IIM colleges ask for at least 2 years of relevant work experience along with a valid entrance exam score.
