LLM (Masters of Law) is a postgraduate 2-year academic course beneath Law. LLM course curriculum focuses on the in-depth knowledge of a specific field of law by intensive research in that particular area of Law. There is no restriction in the age for admission to Master of Law courses offered through the mode of distance learning. Besides this, the candidate who is having a graduate degree from any recognized university is acceptable to earn an LLM degree through Distance Learning.
LLM course can be pursued only by those, who have successfully completed their under graduation in law i.e. LLB/B.L. Degree/5 Year LLB. The minimum criteria of marks for the general category is 55% of aggregate marks and 50% in case of Reserved Categories, i.e., S.C./S.T./Persons with Disability).

CLAT is an All India Entrance Examination conducted by 11 National Law Universities for admissions to their undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs (LL.B & LL.M).
Admission to Jindal Global Law School is conducted through the LSAT examination conducted by Law School Admission Council, USA conducted by Pearson VUE, through its affiliate in India.
However, National Law University, Delhi and National Law University, Orissa and the other private autonomous law schools conduct their own admission tests for the admission of meritorious applicants.
