M.Arch Course: M.Arch Course (Master of Architecture) is a postgraduate degree with a duration of two years. M. Arch is a stream of engineering course which deals with the art of designing and constructing buildings. The course is divided into four semesters. It may vary from institute to institute. This course can be pursued through correspondence or distance education.

M. Arch course provides specialization in one’s chosen line. Eligibility Criteria of M.Arch Course:

  • Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture specialization are eligible for the M.Arch Degree course. Candidates who are appearing for the final exams of B.Arch can also apply

  • GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level exam that is conducted jointly by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science. The minimum eligibility to take the test is graduation.
  • CEED - Common Entrance Examination for Design is also conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and IITs. The minimum eligibility for this test is graduation in design, fine arts, or engineering from a recognized institution. The syllabus of the CEED exam comprises questions related to design and general awareness, visual design, sketching, observation, design thinking ability, visual communication design, etc. An interview is the last stage of the admission process. Also, there are some colleges and universities that offer direct admission too.
