Engineering Courses-

After completion of 12th the students sometimes may get confused that for which course he or she should go because there are 3 streams through which you complete your class 12th.

  1. Science
  2. Commerce
  3. Arts

 Commerce students have so many choices like B.COM, HOTEL MANAGEMENT, BBA. BJMC, CA, CS etc.

Same as commerce students science students also have numerous choices like - UNDER GRADUATION- B.TECH, BCA POST GRADUATION- M.TECH,  MCA etc.

What is engineering?

Engineering is the process of creative application of science, empirical evidence and mathematical methods to design, operate and maintain the structures, machines, materials, devices, and organizations for the benefit of humankind.

The courses in Engineering are available at diploma level, undergraduate level, postgraduate and at doctoral levels.

Engineering is the creative application of scientific principles which is used to design the structures, machines, apparatus by which the works which are done can be utilized in the combination.

There are 4 differents types of courses that are offered under engineering are as follows-

  • MCA
      Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech)

 B. Tech is an undergraduate course under engineering. The duration of this course is 4 years. One who is going to join B.Tech must be from PCM group from his or her educational board. The eligibility to join this course is 10+2.

Under this engineering, the focus is on the application of chemistry, physics, biology, and on the engineering principles.

  • Civil engineering

Under this engineering, the main focus is on public and private welfare like airports, roads and buildings.

This engineering is used to the study, and manufacture of various electrical and electronic systems, example- electrical circuits, generators, motors, electronic devices and many more.

  • Mechanical engineering

This engineering mainly deals with the design and manufactured for physical or mechanical systems, for example, energy and power system.

Masters of Technology (M.Tech)

After completing your B.Tech one can go for higher studies and opt for M.Tech that stands for Masters of technology. M.Tech is a postgraduate course under engineering. The duration of this course is 2 years. One who is going to join M.Tech must have been completed his or her B.Tech with a good percentage.

Bachelor in Computer Application(BCA)

BCA 3 years undergraduate degree course in computer applications which is done after completing your 10+2 degree. After completing BCA a student can go for Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) as a masters course in IT sector and MCA is equal to the engineering course (B.Tech).

 The eligibility criteria to apply for this course is a minimum 17 years which can be exceeded to 20-25 years. The candidate must have passed his or her 12th with minimum 50% and he or she should have English and Maths as compulsory subjects.

 Process for Admission in BCA-

Different universities and college use to conduct entrance exams on there own in which different criteria is set for the entrance test. Some colleges take the admission on the basis of class 12th marks.

Salary Package

Once you completed your Masters in computer application than on an average your per annum salary package will be around 3.5 lakh.

If you have joined any organization as a fresher than your monthly package will be 25k to 30k. If you are getting selected through your campus placement than your salary will be around 15,000 to 25,000/month.
