Note: After B.Tech, if students want to go for higher studies then they can join M.tech or MBA.

After pursuing your M.Tech you have a plethora of career options you can get selected incorporate companies at a higher position where you can get a higher salary. Both private and government companies provide jobs to interested candidates.
On average, An engineer who has completed his or her master's degree can get a salary package from 5 lakh to 6 lakh per annum.
BCA 3-year undergraduate degree course in computer applications which is done after completing your 10+2 degree. After completing BCA a student can go for a Master in Computer Applications (MCA) as a masters course in the IT sector and MCA is equal to the engineering course (B.Tech).
The eligibility criteria to apply for this course is a minimum of 17 years which can be exceeded to 20-25 years. The candidate must have passed his or her 12th with a minimum of 50% and he or she should have English and Maths as compulsory subjects.
Different universities and colleges use to conduct entrance exams on their own in which different criteria are set for the entrance test. Some colleges take admission on the basis of class 12th marks.

MCA is a postgraduate information technology course whose duration is 3 years which is done after completing BCA. This course is also divided into 6 semesters which have different subjects in that, in 1st year the aim is the skill development in the computer by using various techniques, in 2nd year the focus is on the conceptual framework and in the last year i.e in 3rd year the focus is on specialization and on project works.
It is compulsory to have a bachelor's degree in computer applications from any institution. The student who wants to apply for the MCA course should have maths as the main subject in class 12th. And the most important thing is that the candidate should have a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in his or her qualifying examination.
Once you complete your master's in computer application then on average your per annum salary package will be around 3.5 lakh. If you have joined any organization as a fresher then your monthly package will be 25k to 30k. If you are getting selected through your campus placement then your salary will be around 15,000 to 25,000/month.
