What is ITI Course:

ITI is known as an industrial training institute function under the ‘DGET(Directorate General of employment and training)’ and avail training to students who are seeking ITI courses after 12th. The major objective of this course is to encourage students to start small scale business opportunities and create job opportunities in the private sector as well as in the Government sector. The candidate is eligible to pursue as a technician  or any stitching course to start their own respective workshop 

Details of ITI Courses After 12th:

ITI vocational training centre mainly focuses to provide employment-oriented skill training at the vocational training center to students to train them as per the industry-specific task. ITI centers provide a workforce to Indian industries, in the present time, there are so many private and Government ITI centers those are providing such type of training in India to train students to start their career as a self businessman, a private employee in the renowned industry as well as in the Government sectors.

The directorate of the general of training takes initiative for craftsmen training schemes in 1950. The training period is 6 months to 2 years in over 130 different specialties. Prerequisite of this course is 12th class pass out candidates, upon completion of this training, trainee writes with All India Trade Test and successful candidates received the National Trade Certificates. 

Eligibility criteria for ITI Courses after 12th:

ITI offers several courses or another training program in India that is known as Trades and each trades are focus on specific skills as per the industry needs. The total duration of this course lies between six months to two years. The duration of this course totally depends on the nature of the course and eligibility criteria also vary from course to course. The basic requirement to get admission into the ITI course is the 8th 12th class. Students are eligible to take admission in ITI course after class 8th, class 10th, and class 12th

Fee Structure of ITI Courses After 12th:

The ITI course fee in various states is less than engineering courses. Most of the course feelies from 1000 to 9000 for ITI engineering trades and for Non-engineering trades, the fee may be around 3950 to 7000. ITI trade fee is different in the government college as well as the private college. Students are required to pay an extra fee for availing the hostel facility. there are so many states those are providing full concession and partial concession in the fee for the students who are belonging with the reserved category. Students are eligible to pay the fee in two installments

The above date is not fixed, it is all tentative and it may vary from one state to another state. Admission Procedure for ITI Courses After 12th:

ITI admission process varies from state to state. So to understand this admission process in a better way individually. ITI process for the popular states is elaborated below.

Andhra Pradesh ITI Admission:

Department of employment and training, Government of Andhra Pradesh is responsible for conducting ITI admission in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Usually, the admission process in the course of ITI starts in the month of July and ITI Vijaywada is the main center in the Andhra Pradesh

There is no online application process to take admission in the course, Andhra Pradesh. The application process is divided into two steps to register for the ITI course:

Step-1: candidates need to visit at the respective center on the scheduled date declared by the admission authority. The officials at the Vijayawada center will upload the details of candidates at the server. The candidates will have to download the application form for the ITI website of Andhra Pradesh and filled it up. The filled application form should be submitted at the Vijayawada center. While submitting the application form, the official will take candidates photograph through digital camera and the application fee for this registration process is Rs 250 which need to be paid at the respective center

Step-2: Candidates who are unable to visit at the center, can download the application form from the official website and filled application form can be submitted at the Vijayawada center through the post.  The candidates also enclose two passport size photograph and photocopy of all the relevant documents to the application form and send it by post. The application fee of Rs 250 has to be paid in the nearest AP online center  and candidates must be sent the fee receipt along with the application form

After the document application process, the authority will release the merit list on the official website for the ITI admission. Candidates are required to have a part in the online counseling process and seats will be allocated as per the merit list, candidate's preferences and availability of the seats.

Admission in UP - ITI Courses After 12tht:

Rajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad is responsible for conducting ITI admission in Government and private ITI in Uttar Pradesh. Usually, the ITI process commences in the month of May or June every year. There is no entrance exam to take admission in the course ITI in Uttar Pradesh.

The authority accepts the online application form of Uttar Pradesh to take admission in the ITI course. Students must visit the official website of Rajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad to submit the online application form. After filling the online application form, a candidate must take a printout of the same application and put in into any ITI college dropbox  across the state

Note: For General Category  the registration fee is Rs 250 and for SC/ST category candidates the fee is Rs 150.

Admission process:

Authority will declare the seat allocation result of ITI admission in the first week of June. Students can check seat allocation results through the official website by entering the roll number and date of birth, candidates who secured the seat need to pay the fee and report the college within the prescribed date.
