GNM Nursing is General Nursing Midwifery, a diploma course of 3.5 years. Anyone who wishes to serve as a nurse or nursing field can apply for this course. In the GNM Nursing Course students will be taught how to care for a sick person or injured person till they attain a full recovery. 

Admission in GNM nursing is given on the basis of the Entrance Exam which is conducted by the state board. In 3.5 years of study of GNM Nursing candidates have to pass 6 semesters and after that, they have to do 6 Months internship, it is mandatory to do an internship of half a year for every student of GNM Nursing. Students from any stream can apply for the GNM Nursing course the only eligibility of the GNM Nursing course is to pass 10+2 with 55% aggregates.

GNM Nursing course is offered in private colleges and government colleges; both the colleges provide GNM Nursing courses. The fees of the GNM Nursing course depends on the college as the fees of the GNM Nursing course is less in government colleges compared to the private colleges. The approx idea of Fees of the GNM Nursing course is starting from INR 20,000 to 1,00,000 Per Year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed the class 12th exam with a minimum 60% aggregate with English as the main subject from a recognised board.
  • Candidates from the science stream with a biology subject will be given preference first.
  • Candidates from any stream can apply for the GNM Nursing course.
