List of MCom Entrance Exams

  1. Delhi University M.Com Entrance Exam: This entrance exam is conducted by Delhi University every year to take admission of the candidates into its many colleges offering M.Com course. A merit list is released having all the affiliated colleges cut off and on the basis of the student’s performance, they will be given admission into the college whose cut-off is cleared.

  2. BHU PET: BHU PET is a university-level national examination that is organized by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The purpose of this exam is to take admission of the candidates into PG courses, including M.Com. Every year thousands of candidates appear for this exam across several exam centers all over India.

  3. PU CET (PG): PU CET is a state-level entrance exam which is organized by the Punjab University, Chandigarh. The purpose of this exam is to take admission of the candidates into its various PG courses and programs in different fields such as science, management, commerce, etc. Every year this exam is conducted in the month of May and June through the offline mode.

  4. CUCET: CUCET is a national-level examination conducted jointly by ten central universities. This entrance exam is conducted by the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) in the month of April-May every year. CUCET exam offers admission into various UG, PG, Diploma & Ph.D. programs of the participating universities and colleges.

  5. Allahabad University PGAT: PGAT is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted by the University of Allahabad every year to offer admission to its different PG level courses. The mode of the PGAT exam is usually through the offline mode whose application process starts in the month of March-April every year.

  6. AUCET: AUCET is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. This entrance exam offers admission only in PG courses. The affiliated colleges are Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, along Andhra University. AUCET exam is usually conducted in the month of May-June every year through the offline mode.

  7. SRMHCAT: SRMHCAT is SRM Common Admission Test which is conducted by SRM University. The purpose of this entrance exam is to offer admission to management, engineering, and commerce courses at the UG & PG levels. SRMHCAT is an aptitude-based MCQ test of 150 minutes, therefore the syllabus is the same for all the courses.

How to Prepare for MCom Entrance Exam?

Mostly the entrance exams ask questions that are objective in nature, i.e., objective-type questions, and are completely Aptitude Based exams.

The M.Com entrance exam generally covers 4 sections which are as follows:
