Eligibility For CCNA Course:

There is no such eligibility requirement for the CCNA course, any individual who has completed his or her Higher secondary education can apply for this certification program.

There is no such requirement of previous networking skills as this is an associate-level-networking course introduced by CISCO but if the candidate has no prior knowledge about networking then they are advised to learn basics and practice using the tools such as Packet Tracer or GNS3. Without the basic knowledge, the candidate might find it difficult to proceed further with the course. As already mentioned, if you have done your graduation Bsc or in Computer Science or Information science, then the CISCO CCNA certification course will help you even more by adding more skill sets to your resume.

The candidates within 13 years to 17 years of age can apply for the course with their parent's concern. The candidates of or above 18 years of age can apply for this course without any consent from their parents. The eligibility for the CCNA course is not something the candidate has to worry about, but yes! The candidate needs to focus on learning the basic skills of networking to become a CCNA expert.

CCNA Course Syllabus:

  1. The Introduction to Cisco Network Devices part 1 (INND1) includes IP routing technologies, LAN switching technologies, IP services (NAT, ACLS, DHCP), IPv6, network device security, etc.
  2. The Introduction to Cisco Network Devices Part 2 includes topics such as LAN switching technologies, WAN technologies, IP services (FHRP, SNMP v2, and v3, Syslog), and IP routing technologies.
  3. All the topics included in ICND1 and ICND2 with addition to installation, troubleshooting, and operation are contained in the CCNA combined exam
  4. In-Depth knowledge of IPv6
  5. Network designing with subnetting.
  6. CCNP level subjects (EtherChannel, HSRP, and DTP)
  7. Advanced techniques of troubleshooting

The curriculum of the CCNA Course is quite complex and it is upgraded frequently according to the latest technology up-gradation, CCNA curriculum includes some of the common topics such as OSI Models, IP Addressing.
