  • The minimum age limit required by the candidate is  17 years.

B.Arch Course Duration:

  • The course duration of the B.Arch  Course is of 5 years. It’s an undergraduate degree program in the field of Architecture. 
  • The  B.Arch  Course is an academic program that consists of theoretical lectures, and practical training. 

Average B.Arch Course Fees:

The fee structure of the B.Arch course depends on whether the institute is a   government institute or a private one. The fee structure of the government institute is between Rs 1,60,000- 2,30,000/-. Whereas, the fee structure of the private institutes is between Rs 2,00000-3,50000/-

Admission process for the B.Arch course:
  • The Admission process for the B.Arch course requires an applicant to clear out the NATA ( National Aptitude Test) entrance test, conducted by the  Council of Architecture every year.  
  • After the completion of the entrance exam,  the marks scored by aspirants in the relevant entrance tests are taken into consideration. 
  • Then the counseling process is conducted on the basis of the candidate's rank, he/she is allotted a seat in any of the top architecture colleges in India.

Selection Procedure for B.Arch Course:

The Selection Procedure for B.Arch Course is basically followed by the three main processes:

  • NATA Test
  • Counseling
  • Registration in selected college

In order to get admission in the B.Arch course candidates are required to go through the NATA ( National Aptitude Test in Architecture) entrance exam. Salary packages for B.Arch Graduates:

An architect can earn a remuneration of about Rs 4 Lakhs to Rs 5 Lakhs per annum. The salary will increase with experience in this field. Candidates having a work experience of more than 5 years can get a salary in between Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs per year. Architect salary is high in the private sector as compared to the government sector. The honorarium will also depend on job profile, company, location & work experience.
