After completing this course, an undergraduate can join government organization like Public Works Department, an Archaeological Department, Ministry of Defense, National Building Organization, National Institute of Urban Affairs and Departments of Railways. And private organizations such as Hafeez Contractor, Greenply industries, Sleek International, Arcop associates, Skets studio, HBA International etc.
An Architect job is not limited to design barely corporate workplace rather this they design houses, colonies, apartments, hospitals, hotels, stadium, shopping complexes, schools, industrial complexes, etc. As an Architectural Consultant, aspirants can work in different construction companies.
Job profile of B.Arch. includes the responsibility of creating the design of construction, coordinating with construction professionals, town planning, finalizing projects, construction of residential as well as commercial building etc. Apart from this, he/she can work as a Civil Engineer, Land Developer and Structural Engineer also.
An architect can earn a remuneration of about Rs 4 Lakhs to Rs 5 Lakhs per annum. The salary will increase with experience in this field. Candidates having a work experience of more than 5 years can get a salary in between Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs per year. Architect salary is high in private sector as compared to the government sector. The honorarium will also depend on job profile, company, location & work experience. An Architect can also work as a teacher for commercial drawing subject, a lecturer or professor in college for designing and construction-related subjects. Besides this, aspirants can work as a consultant for real estate organizations as they know the techniques of construction after completion of this course.
