Written Exams for the Final and Preliminary

The combined syllabus for the preliminary and final exams is provided here. To get the appropriate scores on both tests, applicants need to properly master and practice these topics. To advance to subsequent stages, candidates must achieve at least the minimum cut-off marks.

WB Police Constable Exam/PMT/PET and Interview Syllabus 

  • The PMT and PET are qualifying tests; candidates must pass both phases in order to pass, but they will not be awarded points for passing.
  • ​​​​​​The purpose of the 15-mark interview round is to assess candidates' suitability for the position through a series of devised questions.
  • ​​​​​​The final applicants are chosen based on their performance in the interview and final written exam.
