WBPRB Exam 2025 Pattern

Exam Pattern for West Bengal Police Constable 

  • Candidates must pass each of the five selection phases in the WB Police Constable Exam Pattern in order to be considered for selection as WB Police Constables.
  • Preliminary Written Exam, PMT/PET, Final Written Exam, and Interview are the five steps of selection. Here are the specifics of the West Bengal Police Constable Exam Pattern 2025 for the various selection phases.

Initial Written Examination

  • There will be one hundred multiple-choice, objective-style questions on this test.
  • Each question has one mark. For each question that is answered incorrectly, there is a ¼ mark deduction.
  • Questions that are not attempted receive no marks deduction.
  • The language used in the paper is Nepali and Bengali.
  • The paper will take one hour to complete.

PET/PMT

In order to pass the PMT and be qualified for the PET, candidates must meet the required physical requirements. The following physical attributes are required of the candidates:

The board demands that the candidates demonstrate their physical fitness during the PET in addition to providing body measurements. Candidates must run 1600 meters in less than 6 minutes and 30 seconds to demonstrate their fitness. Those who made the shortlist will next take the final written test. On the day of the test only, questions about the validity of the measures obtained during the PMT may be brought up in front of the selection board chairman. When it comes to PET/PMT, the WBPRB's decision is considered final.

Final Written Test

Candidates are required to show up for the final written test following the PMT/PMT. Let's examine some facets of the final written exam's exam format:

INTERVIEW

A personal interview is the last step in the selection process, during which a candidate's suitability for the position and personality attributes are assessed. At this point, the verification roll will also be examined. If the shortlisted individuals pass the medical exam, they will be assigned to the West Bengal Police Department as Police Constables.  It will be worth fifteen points.
